I am so in love with Sydnee's and all of the fantastic employees who work there.

Our little guy had always been fine at the groomers, until all of the sudden he wasn't according to our previous groomer. The place we had been going started to report they couldn't cut his nails. It escalated until they reported he jumped off of the grooming table, and this dog has teeny tiny legs, so we decided it was time to try somewhere new.

Enter Sydnee's! We've been going there for a couple of years now and they have never had a problem doing his nails.

They keep appointments limited enough that the dogs are allowed to hang out with each other behind the counter - no locking them up in kennels and there's the added bonus of his grooming appointments also being play dates. They are also super speedy, so we usually drop him off, grab a drink or lunch nearby, and then he's done.

Most importantly, you can tell the people working there truly love dogs. They remember our puppy, are quick to give compliments, and we've even arrived to find him sitting on the lap of the person working the front desk. They always give him a cute neckerchief or bowtie and he smells fresh for days.

For some added context, our dog has leash aggression. They know this and are perfect about doing a physical hand off so he can drop into the group of pups stress free. Could not be a bigger fan, we are so appreciative of the team here and their dog-centric approach to grooming and caring for pups!

Absolutely a fantastic experience. I was referred here by a friend of mine. While I was weary to try a new place, Sandys did a wonderful job. My dog had some matting from not being able to get in at his old groomer. Letty was able to get the matting out and leave him with a large amount of hair left on his legs, etc. When I picked him up I was shocked, easily the best hair cut my dog has ever received. My dog was also so happy, he really seemed to feel comfortable there. The price was much better than any other place I have seen in the city. I will be recommending Sandys to everyone I know.

Jesslyn & Ledy are hands down the best grooming service in the city of Chicago -

Jess is awesome at check in and an amazing owner and my little Yorkie Charlie absolutey loves Ledy - he has had many groomers over his 10 year life but no one has ever given him such amazing cuts like Ledy and he actually likes to see her and he really enjoys hanging out with the big dogs in the shop - I think he actually gets sad when I pick him up LOL-

All the ladies at Sydnee’s are wonderful. My pup LOVES visiting, to the point that we can’t walk by without him and trying to go in for a day at the salon. Everyone who has worked with Ru truly cares for him and all the other pups running around. When I visit, they also give me tips to help keep him looking his best in between visits and help him be more comfortable with getting his hair brushed. They have truly become partners in my dog’s wellbeing - not just making him look good, but also helping me identify patterns and things to keep an eye on with his health and behavior. Sandy's Pet Spa is FABULOUS! And Linda, who works at the front is just so wonderful and friendly and kind. And Felicia, who cuts Rocky's hair, is amazing . . . whatever she's doing with Rocky (my dog) . . . keep doing it. Rocky looks wonderful and as a Weiner dog, can be hard cutting her hair, but Felicia is so attentive and Rocky adores her (I mean she's even able to brush her teeth with no issues). Update - I'm pretty positive I've reviewed before, but just have to say after 2 years we've been nothing but happy with Sydnee's so they deserve the extra shout out. Every haircut has been top notch and they must take good notes because I never have to go through what we do each time with them. I feel confident when I drop my dog off that he's going to look great and be happy (he loves it there- and our friend's dog even halts in front of their door during walks because she loves going there too!). They are also so good about thoughtfully pointing out anything they observe (e.g., skin allergy, needing a teeth cleaning- which were both very legitimate things our dog had going on but it was nice that they said something when they noticed as well). We're moving and the thought of finding a new place as good as Sydnee's is hard to imagine.

They did a great job with my puppy’s first face trim. She was nervous when I tried to cut near her eye area and they were somehow able to get her eye area completely clean of hair as I requested, so definitely recommend for puppy grooms. I’ve heard from neighbors that they’ve done a great job for other pups as well.

Got my dogs groomed here. They did an excellent job, came out looking and smelling great. Staff was super friendly, especially the one with the glasses and bangs I forget their name. I cannot explain how difficult it is to find a place to groom cats in the city. I have a large long haired mainecoon cat.  This place does an excellent job cutting with scissors as well as with buzzer for his long hair, trimming nails, cleaning ears, washing his thick fur.  Facility is clean and organized, staff is friendly, and gentle with caring for the animals.  Reasonably priced especially for the arsenal of services rendered.
